Gizmo5 trunk setup problem Asterisk, Gizmo5

Trying to setup gizmo5 for Asterisk(1.6). The gizmo5 can register at Asterisk, however, Asterisk does not react at any incoming call.

Some settings have been generalized, like type=friend, nat=auto etc. did not make sense

For incoming call, it would not be an issue. I believe that Qnewbie should be able to get the thing done. Are you using Asterisk programming script in setting up your application or using a GUI?

I am using Asterisk programming.

If it cannot be done in reasonable time, I would consider the GUI option.

If you are using Asterisk Programming language, it should be okay. When I have time, I may use my NAS to install Gizom5 to test if it works or not.

I followed the third link that you provided can work very well in my QNAP NAS without any problems encountered.

I do not know why yours does not work. What is the log?

just like HKBN, now no problem in dialing out but has problem in dialing in

I check. It is my mistake to make some typos. But HKBN still not yet resolved.

I have not testd the receiving part of your 2b number. Last time I only did the outbound calls only. How many 2b numbers installed in the same system?

Only one account and number of HK2b.  I see the sip connection but some how drop. At the beginning, dial in works.

The gizmo5 account works as expected with method 3 for a while.

The only error I made(as I only use copy&paste style to edit the sip.conf) is the register string, which misses a number in the gizmo5 number. Now it works like a charm.

when testing this, we have to check again on the typos and any overlapping with existing functions/dialplan made.
