DD-WRT and asterisk

Some how in the short coming future, we can find integration of asterisk 1.8 into dd-wrt router.

I'm using OpenWRT with Asterisk 1.8, and it works well now.

Just share my knowledge. I have been using Linux serverfor quite some time. Some of the tricks are learnt from experience.

The built in asterisk within DD-wrt firmware is not working. You need to install working package. This is why go for Optware the right way.

Per my understanding, you can move your centos box asterisk config to the dd-wrt router but need to make modification before it can work.

You can follow some of my threads few months ago to install asterisk 1.8
