Other IP PBX system

While looking up a lot of new things in the past few days, I find this company

It has a IP-PBX with 8 ports (in different FXO/FXS combination). Very intuitive GUI which has based on asterisk 1.4.

Only problem is a bit too expensive (> HK$4K plus shipping) and has too many POTS for our home use.

I think the price is almost same when comparing with our dedicated PC server.  When setting up a PC server, you have to add the costs for additional HDD, RAM, telephony card etc in the unit.  

Looking the face from another side, the advantage is that it provides 8 FXO ports against the 4 ports only as planned in our PC.  Also, you can get it up and running immediately when it is on your hand.  For dedicated PC server, we have to regulate, mix and match to merge everything to suit our needs.

Agree with you that 8 ports are too many for home users.

Lets check the overall usrs comments on this system over the net.

If it has a 4 ports version, I would not build another PC. Just use the box as PSTN trunk for incoming and outgoing calls.

I believe one can ssh to the box to make further custom adjustment. It is slightly more expensive on the same kind of backbone hardware but it has a metal case.

Just play around, the first impression is not bad.  Though it is not as quick response as Switchfin, it seems the system has built-in Chinese Voice.

My another concern is we don't have channels to use our customize extensions.conf as I cannot find where the configuration editor is.
