I just finished the phone call with the member eXiteRIC using OBiTalk first and followed by HKBN 2b services. The first few calls employed the OBiTalk service. I was able to hear his voice without any problem but he said my voice was incomplete and was not able hear my message clearly.
Since we are not able to change the codec for OBiTalk, i.e. G711u, which consumes a lot of bandwidth. If your broadband speed is very high then you do not have any problem. However, in most cases, with limited bandwidth, you may have voice quality problem. Therefore I asked him to set the G729a codec to the first priority for the HKBN 2b service. Then we continued our last phone with HKBN 2b with the codec G729a. He said that he could hear my voice and message without any problem.
