Strangely, when I made the build for GUI, it was clearly stated SVN-branch-2.0-r5144 dew days ago.  However, when entering the GUI, it shows:

Asterisk Build:
Asterisk/1.8.2
Asterisk GUI-version : SVN-branch-2.0-r5143

You download from the release source and so you got 1.8.2. Mine is from subversion that would get update almost daily.

Did you make an make install after make?

TOP

Yes, I did.

cd /usr/src
svn co http://svn.digium.com/svn/asterisk-gui/branches/2.0 asterisk-gui
cd asterisk-gui
sh configure && make && make install

So far so good. As stated before, most of the time to use GUI is to check the online and offline status and CDR. The CDR prompts me to identify hacker from Palestainin.
I seldom use GUI to do other thing except as monitor.

However, I have signal problem to indicate whther the extension is occupied or not.  No matter the extension lines are on or off.  It shows green light.  No yellow or red light is shown on GUI.  In this regard, it is meaningless and useless if I lose monitoring purpose, for the time being.

Shall I need to remove the old GUI first before another try or just cover the new version on the existing one.

Just make install is ok. It will overwrite your files.

Thanks and will try later.

I also notice the delay in changing the on / off status in the GUI.

TOP

Is your on / off status just delay showing in the GUI or not function?  Mine is always in green no matter the line is used or not.  I think it is the signal detection problem.

TOP

It changes to red upon dialing or on hook.  Also it will be appear when login.
