H.323 VOIP

近來公司有間新工廠要搞VOIP!!之后我檢查一下香港公司的VOIP GATEWAY才知道是用H.323，不是用SIP!!

我想問問H.323和SIP有什么分別呢???

H.323是ITU定制，但是现在已经慢慢开始很少人用。而SIP是IETF定制的，现在很多公司都开始广发使用。

如果你用Asterisk，H323都可以接入，我们有members的公司都是用H323，然后用Asterisk Server做转接。

怪不得你那么积极起一台Asterisk Server，不知道进展怎样呢？

沒用進展近來忙著!!

公司的本來我不管的!!但上司要走了，又有新工廠要連回香港總公司!!我迫於無奈下要處理

I have been working on H323 connection to asterisk but without success.

I understand H323 is a bit easier to set up and with cheaper hardware than sip in the past.
