其实它与Intel D510MO的耗能差不多,但是性能比高12.5%(based on CPU clock frequency),所以用来建Asterisk Server是非常适合,最重要是在香港买入,有保养!又不贵!又是Gigabyte产品,必属精品!!!在香港买入大约是港币770元,非常超值!!!!
I don;t agree
i measure my intel motherboard (D510) with 2G DDR2 ram
and one 3.5" WD hard disk
using cooler master CM100 (small case ) and tfx power (claim to be 150W)
i cause me >30W around 35W
not 1X W claimed by yfung
lttliang
i am doing similar thing to u
hoping to do the soft router (becuase I can have more control onthe firewall
and extensive reporting , I think)
but hard to find anything good
I also try the itx version of G41 intel board with E3300 (vt)
it cost me >40W idle
never use intel board ( i trust that for stability)
but no option in bios to alter the frequency or voltage
I use an old P3 (hp oem) and 2*256MB ram and 1 3.5" 80G IDE hard disk
and you know it cause me >35W .....
VIA(cn700) PC3500 seems a good choice
but it is difficult to buy a new one now
it is ok for tdm410p
and it will hang up for the tdm800 card (8 fxo)
which broad you suggested that can lower the frequency
and dynamically boost up (like turbo boost) when required
or should we stick to atom board
I need the power as I am experiencing all-in-one server
soft router (clearos) I want extensive reporting on hacking and control on internet access
+ samba
+ ftp
+ asterisk
+ LAMP
it save power (green) and the world
*********************************************
I would like to try to lower the frequency to achieve that with socket 775
and without video card (save the critical few watts on long run)
The features you described are used in all in one server that are likely to draw more energy. The board I quote seems a good choice with size and CPU features. However, I don't know the price.
In my case, I use atom 330 on nvidia ION chipset with a 320 Gb 2.5" HD. Have all the features you needed except firewall and router function? It was left to my netgear router. I believe it draws quite a bit power but not sure.
Very stable. Have been on for months except reboot for the kernel update. It also serves the asterisk server.
