Have someone in the forum bought so called GSM接入台?

It sounds great as access number or callback DID number. It is unclear, though, that the connection between GSM 接入台 and asterisk.
It has only RJ11 port, which should be connected to FXS or FXO port(Linksys ATA?).

As far as I know this machine is just a gatway between GSM to PSTN and vise versa.

I know that there is a GSM module for Asterisk such that it gives your more choices of making or receiving calls via Asterisk.

From the cost point of view, the GSM 接入台+SPA3000(180+170CNY) is far cheaper than GSM gateway(720CNY).

From the voice quality point of view, it is better to choose GSM gateway which is specially for interfacing with an Asterisk server.

you can download the user manual to see if it fit your requirements.

There seems only 1 shop selling their voip product in Golden, called "領宙", and planet's HK distributor is WINCO at KWUN TONG. If "領宙" dun have u can call the distributor directly.

但係你所講既呢隻GSP VoIP gateway就好貴下...我印象係千幾定二千幾...

反而Planet既話有隻VoIP Gateway佢地都有做...好似4百幾蚊...
佢地有時會話用呢隻黎代替買SPA3102(因為冇哂貨... )

Linksys 野的話我公司會直接搵代理SIS買(會送貨, 但要連其他野(pc, lcd etc)買夠數先得, 因為係代理), 不過 Linksys 番貨都要等兩至三個禮拜.

It is question of trade-off between voice quality and cost. I am just wondering about the voice quality (latency etc.) for GOIP and GSM接入台. Might have to make up my mind this week.

Based on the user of GOIP GSM gateway and GSM gateway of the user, GOIP GSM is much better and easy to use as compared to GSM gateway.  The use of GSM gateway will depend on your application. If you does not involve any further Asterisk server, GSM gateway is a better choice. However, if your application is involved with Asterisk server, it is not a good choice. The better solution is GOIP GSM gateway. You may ask the member for more information about his comments on the use of his GOIP GSM gateway.

我有設過 GOIP GSM gateway，若有什麼疑問，只要我能協助的請讓我知道。

刚才也跟member测试GSM box和GOIP GSM Gateway，接入我香港的Asterisk Server（NAS-based）和深圳的Asterisk Server（embedded based）。发现GSM box效果不错，可以接受。而GOIP GSM Gateway就不可以，可能是member那里的GSM信号不是很好，而GSM box的收发能力非常好（因为有增益天线），而GOIP GSM Gateway的天线非常小，可能是这样原因导致测试效果不太好。

Oh, it is a bit too late since I bought the GOIP gateway. I plan to use it as an access number for both callback and call through. The patch might be a larger atennna

BTW, 情侶卡 & GOIP gateway might be an ecomonic way to access the asterisk core system in mainland(OK, if the gateway keeps its promise).
