I downloaded the firmware from the OBiTalk portal to the local disk and then I log in the WEB-GUI of OBi110 to update the firmware.

    I was a bit lazy last night to do the web update under its portal. Anyway it works at the end with the same firmware with you.

Now I understand what you mean "lulu, no configuration and just dial upon unpackaging". I thought you mean very simple plug and play and dialed any number. For dialing to other OBi100/110, it is very simple. For other, still needs some configurations, especially if you need to add to speed dial.

It is not suggested to update the firmware via the web portal, espcially the communication backbones being partially damaged in these days after the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan.  The internet line speed with U.S.A. drops drastically and it will affect the updating process and resulting in failure and OBi110 damaged.  Locally updating is more reliable.

Totally agree with you about what the YH's "Lu-Lu" opinion on OBiTALK.  For more sophisticated but convenient usage with VoIP, an in-depth workaround is a MUST.

有兩種方法可以註冊 External SIP Provider 或 自己的 IP-PBX，並能成功打出及接入。

第一種是登入http://obihai.com/itspConfiguration/ 利用該網站的SIP Configuration Wizard作設定

填入資料後，按Configure。之後它會remote 替你設定所有有關數值資料，reboot 後，即可馬上使用。

註: 一定要全程online 上網，不能斷線，否則無法進行。

唔需要，如常地:

OBiTalk 撥打 **9 XXX XXX XXX 或把號碼放進 Speed Dial ，例如 1# 即可。
IP01 就直接撥內線即可，例如 6001#

但我現在反而未知怎樣自行選擇用 SP1 定 SP2 撥出電話，在 Linksys SPA1001 裡，是可以自行設定 ## 選擇Line 2 撥出電話的。

不知有邊位師兄師姐可以提點一下。

解決了。

如果想用 SP1 或 SP2 Service 撥出電話，可以先撥 **1 或 **2 作 Prefix，再繼續撥出所需號碼即可。

如果 SP1 已被訂為 Primary Line，則可以無需先撥 **1。

如何決定用邊條線路作 Primary Line，選擇的地方在 Auto Attendant 裡面作設定。

分別有五種選擇:

• SP1 Service
  
• SP2 Service
  
• OBiTalk Service
  
• PSTN Line
  
• Trunk Group 1
  

• 選了SP1 Service 作 Primary Line 後，拿起話筒，無需先撥**1，即可以SP1 所註冊的帳號及其所屬的Dial Plan 型式撥出電話。
  
  
• 選了SP2 Service 作 Primary Line 後，拿起話筒，無需先撥**2，即可以SP2 所註冊的帳號及其所屬的Dial Plan 型式撥出電話。
  
  
• 以此推理，若選OBiTALK Service 作Primary Line，有機會無需先撥 **9，即可打出OBiTalk 的 電話，而要打SP1 及 SP2 電話時，便要用 **1 XX. 或 **2 XX. 了  (實際是否這樣，還未試過).
  
  
• PSTN Line 應該也是相同原理。
  
  
• Trunk Group 1 是什麼，還有待研究，但好大機會是可以把 SP1 和 SP2 放在同一條TRUNK 上 成為 TRUNK GROUP 1，以此作 Primary Line。那麼兩者都無需先撥打Prefix。 其它PSTN 等等也應可以自組另一Trunk Group 作其它適合自己的用途。
