为什么真正安装Asterisk系统，这次特别订购ATOM Intel  D510MO系统，那么我就可以在这个系统上可以做很多的工作的测试，例如更加FXO card，那么我们就可以脱离ATCOM的IP01 + FXO了。

等我有了系统，然后慢慢调整，看看效果是怎样。

The configuration is very simple, Intel Mainbord D510MO, 40G Harddisk, 1G RAM, mini-case, I believe that the configuration is good enough for running Asterisk server.  I would like to buy a two-port FXO card from ATCOM but I forgot the model number and the price. Do you remember it?

Since I am using Intel board instead of the promoted one, the price is increased from 998 to 1175.

ATCOM IP01 is good for those members who are not familiar with the installation of Asterisk server and FXO cards. It save a lot of time and efforts.

The main board is okay but not for FXO modules which we could obtain from Taobao at RMB100.

Oh! My God! My Intel mianboard does not support auto-boot after power up!

Next time, make sure that the BIOS supports this function if you want it to be your Asterisk Server.

I do not know whether there has a third part BIOS firmware for Intel board.  We have to collect the required information to make a reliable Asterisk Server.

Intel uses different wordings for the AC power failure recovery function. Intel uses "After power failure" with three options: Stay off, Last state, Power on. In the previous attempt, I have tried the third option "Power on" but it did not work at that time. Later on after playing around with other parameter values, such as "Wake on Lan from S5" and "Wake system from S5", the auto-on function works. After removing the last two parameters settings, the auto-on function still works. I am wondering what has happened and what has done besides the above-mentioned task.

Any way, it is confirmed that Intel D510MO board does have the auto-on function (or AC power failure recovery function). As the result, the Asterisk will resume after AC power failure recovery.

In fact, if you have paid more, you may get another mainboard which consumes less power at higher price from Intel ATOM-based mother boards. I believe that the price will be much higher than the one that I got, as a result, I did not choose that option. It requires a notebook RAM which causes you some money. If you want to have a more reliable system with less power consumption. You may choose that option.

The model of that board is INTEL D945GSEJT ATOM N270.

How did you make a ordinary USB flash to a USB-CDROM? As I know that in order to make a USB flash to a USB-CDROM flash, it requries a certain type of USB flash, right?

I bought the Intel D510MO from this Taobao seller (shown below) at higher price of RMB 1175. If you use ordinary boards, you may get it at RMB998.
