Macau CTM internet uplink is bad, and the quality is unreliable. that is a know issue in Macau.
currently i drop the CTM internet (save money) and use Macau china telecom and I can use skype, .. without a lot of issue.
or if you are in taipa, you can try to receive CMCC signal.

i use Macau China Telecom mobile network. the performance is better than CTM fix network (for uplink).

For me, i am traveller, i choose Macau china telecom, as i can use mobile network anywhere macau and when i am waiting for ferry.
Also in the sea, there is some china telecom 3G signal.
Finally i give up the CTM fix network.

CTM uplink is 128K or 256K, but not stable. My customer complaint a lot, and there is no way to improve it. There is some parameter error in the CTM router, you need to adjust the MTU to a small size in order to guarantee the throughput.
Also if you know the CTM use China unicom broadband and the link will go thru china, so that cause a lot of unstable.

When i use CTM in Macu, the best solution is use OBI110<->OBI110 and dial out from HK fix line. I use et263 to dial to china.
currently use HKBN with Macau China telecom, skype to china.
I have not test it, but the best solution should be dial back from Hong Kong, if you use smartone HK/Macau package. ADD the HKBN 2B in HK OBI110.

the latest news is Guangzhou China Telecom data plan can use in Macau without extra charge. For me, GZ china telecom Data package is cheaper than Macau china telecom Data package.
