Then it may be the kernel issue causing reboot automatically

I am really sorry to hear that there is serious problem in the new firmware. I am sorry I have not done any upgrade myself as I can't remote upgrade the IP01 where problem arisen will be a dead end.

I believe the developer will further investigate and figure the solution. It may be he has made many changes that at least we can't find in the SVN trunk log

My tracking is from here

http://switchfin.svn.sourceforge ... in/switchfin/trunk/

and the switchfin website.

My previous experience with the developer is that he is really responsible to the bug report.

Worth a try

Please see your email for a svn 350. I can further check my files to see if I have another version.

Re: [488] Asterisk crashes when using "register" in sip.conf

Hi Guys,

In the Switchfin trunk we indeed have SIP issue.
I think I am very close to fix this very strange behavior.
Before this please consider the chan_sip and latest Switchfin trunk SIP unreliable.

There must be something changed but not sure on the overall impact. To be honest, this ip01 has posted more problems in SIP connection.  We encounter problems in sip connection with draytek router, and those occurred recently.

My IP01 at UK with switchfin svn 437 firmware works fairly well at the moment. Both SIP and IAX connections are fine after tweaking the connection under draytek router. Voice quality is also good. I have set up up follow me and voicemail as email function.

I mentioned in other thread that I need to do port forwarding from ports other than 5060. It only happens for SIP but not IAX.

Another comment for other users is use only those items you need. There is hardware limitation in term of processing speed and root partition in IP0x. Therefore, the more options you need, you should probably go for a real server rather than an embedded ippbx. I got the same answer from Spotel that is indeed my favorite one if I never have a linux server nor IP01. Moreover, if you are not putting your IP01 in a public IP and have reasonably protection from the router firewall (+ reasonably security control in the password), one may skip the inadyn, iptables, etc. At the end, your compiled firmware will be contained at < 8Mb that should work reasonably well.

In my case, I do and still encounter problem. i.e. not sure why the sip.conf has problem. It is indeed containing duplicate entries and once I start to clean it up, the box will fail to have the sip connection.
