不是，我和bubblestar 兄都在重整asterisk dialplan，不過比較忙，沒有空寫帖子。

由於我在VOIP 裏的認識始於asterisk，所以最先應用asterisk 有的functions。但不論你用 linux server 自己起的 asterisk 或IP01 的asterisk，最大分別是flexibility 和 logging。asterisk 可以比較清楚處理方法，但ATA 需要明不同的專用名。不過骨子裏大家運作原理其實差不多。

現在我的asterisk 可以加入2 個或更多dial in and out functions，如1.8 版更加有native google voice support, calendar support ....

另外在整合上，我加上 fax in and out 和使用 USB 3G 手指做voice dial in and out，仲可以收送 SMS，這些都是OBi or IP01 做唔到。

不過，這些是需要時間學習和不停試。

簡單說，全部可以。

Calendar 是新加入功能，提醒用戶日程，如用電話提醒下個約會。

其實asterisk 可以很強大，但當你愈想使用多D功能時，就要小心安全保安問題。

開放給其他人使用更要小心。

不過我們要大家分享知識和技術，先會有進步。

Did you install GUI for the asterisk?

Which version of asterisk you install?

1.8 or other?

Plain asterisk download from asterisk.org or freepbx or elastix?

Are you using asteriskNow to install?

If you are using AsteriskNOW and have GUI installed, it will be similar to what you at IP01
I suggest you to go step by step

2. extensions.conf

look at the boot process and click on the one with GUI. I think for the latest AsteriskNOW, they have not fixed the GUI problem.

You may use asterisk 1.4 + GUI first. I personally do not recommend you to install freepbx. But if you choose, you should try PIAF which is more mature and contains 1.8
