yes it is quite easy to apply
i apply and get the password
but i cannot get it to work with voip software such as zoiper

config with zoiper

username : 35xxyyyyhk
password : [the one shown on the sms]

    that means this sort of accounts is for the software on smart phone os only
   
     I original plan to join the 8 line hkbn plan (HK$64/month ie $8/no/month)
     but i am not sure whether the accounts work on my asterisk or voip softphone

     the sales told me to apply and have a trial
     but it don't work
     ching, is the commerical plan of hk2b still work as your post or other ching post

      and it is only this smart phone account don;t work on voip soft phone.
      please advise before I sign up the plan (HK$64/month x 24 months)

Ching I just don't understand
it is not standard sip server
and therefore

i just want to use cisco 7960 in China backoffice
to use hkbn 2b no to dial in and dial out
that's all
I don;t want to stick to their application at all

You mention hk2b account is ok for asterisk
i see that
so it is ok for asterisk but not ok for other standard voip software.
[I just don;t get it]
