I use VSP outside China and cannot see any direct impact to me.

It is not the first crackdown. Last year UUcall(?) or whatever was cracked down and draw large attentions in media. One year later, many Chinese VSPs are still on operations.

The way to reduce the use of IP phone is accurately simple: lower the rate.
