How long time does the firmware last in the free web host?

If it could be updated through http, it is great(no need to buy the RS232 cable)!

You mean the update succeeds after shutdown IP01 for a few minutes and restart it, then it works?

Switch my IP01 to switchfin svn 373.

What is the next step: Direct update firmware to svn 456 or svn 458? Is the DHCP enable by default for svn 458?

Tested partly with svn 373.

1. Can register to internal(another Asterisk host) or external sip trunks.
2. X-lite registration within the same LAN is OK.
3. Dial-out thru internal sip trunk is OK.
4. Dial in thru analog trunk forwards to X-lite is OK.

Cool start test for modem, router, IP01, and ATA(simultaneously switch-on) should be carried out laterly and hopefully they work.

What is the major improvements from svn 373 to 456(458)?

Suck@weblogin for v437.

The same as 亞星, cannot login thru the web. But can login thru SSH/hyper terminal. The plug/unplug magic does not work.

What is the option to update to 437? Or must flash back to ATCOM's firmware?

My advice is:
1. If you get a serial-cable, you could do it.
2. If you can tackle attacks with router, it is better not.

The weblogin is a buggy problem.

    Finally got it work.

I modify the extensions.conf and disable the DHCP(fix lan ip) in svn 373. This might have impact to the update.

Downgrade to 373 thru serial cable and the update to 437, TWICE! Finally it works.

The drawback is all configuration settings are removed. I have to DO the typing&clicking job again

Recommendation to all whom want to update firmware: backup your configuration!

The weblogin from svn 373 to svn 437 is a nightmare to me.

Might be it is better to upgrade to 437 before you begin your IP01 configuration.

I don't have further plan to upgrade IP01 to higher svn. Two most wanted features, i.e., callback and DISA are tested and they work. The only concern is the firewall issue. I put it behind thomson's modem+router gatteway and open ports in accordance with switchfin's recommendations. Hopefully the firewall in the gateway works.
