Last night, I also updated to svn 506 which was released 87 minutes soon after I got svn 505 .  Quite hot and fresh.

Is your update process smoother than the previous release?

    Very good settings.  Don't know how many items that we can input into the iptables. Does anyone know about it?

都唔錯喎，差不多一個月唔使reboot。你個IP01任人入去玩reboot? 用新版就有呢樣好，分開Operator Panel 及 Admin Mode。

今次SVN506 好爽，令我有些重拾第一次用Switchfin時的快速感覺。

Gmail應該是可以用的，但仲未知點樣設定。

The latest SVN is 510 but those changes in svn509 and svn510 are of no use for IP01.  Hence, we can just stay with SVN508 at present and it is very stable without problem up till now.

What I sent to you was SVN506M instead of SVN508.  I made a wrong statement in my post which misled your post that followed.  My apology.

It seems those guys that having the problem are using French with SVN 509 or SVN 510.
Mine is svn 506M which is still running on its track properly.

I have no ideas about that.  My compiling environment is CentOS 32bit on a D525 Atom box with 4G Ram.  All packages required and specified in Switchfin forum were installed.

YH Fung is using my compiled firmware in his box for more than 14 days continuously without problem.

SVN 527 is released.

Changes between SVN 506 and SVN 527 are:

• svn507 Fix the dm9000 driver for the dm9000B chip
  
• svn508 Ghostscript add by Kelvin Chua
  
• svn509 Some SIM cards has storage for less or more then 32 SMS
  
• svn519 u-boot. Add reset NAND before read device ID
  
• svn522 return the DHCP client demon back for IP04 and PR1Appliance
  
• svn526 Migration to the new uClinux distro
  
• svn527 Switchfin using 2010R1-RC5 uClinux distro. All basic components compiles. Drivers not tested yet

Beware that some errors still occur during the new compilation, especially when we try to include lighttpd and uw-imap.  Finally, I quit including these 2 from the menuconfig.

Also, I found that the new kernel size is considerable large, we cannot accommodate all basic feature package as before.  When I got the compiled version of svn560, I found that its file size is already 8.4MB which made the IP01 very unstable and reboot itself into endless loop.

Apparently, I have to sacrifice more options when doing another compilation sometime later.
