Searching set-top box(+slingbox or vulkano) for TV placeshifting? Any recommendation?

Is it stable with Magic TV 7000D? Looks like an All-in-one solution if we can download the recorded content from Magic's HDD.

Lu-Lu level is preferred as maintained and received by Lu-Lus.

Now I got many choices:
1. Magic TV 7000D + PC/IPAD@receiver side.
2. Magic TV 3200S + USB HDD + Vulkano flow + PC.
3. ACL/8/Magic/Olevia... receiver + Vulkano flow + PC.
4. ACL/8/Magic/Olevia... receiver + Vulkano flow + Vulkano Lava.
5. Magic TV 3200S + USB HDD + Vulkano flow + Vulkano Lava.

Magic TV 7000D is stable. We can download the recorded content from Magic's HDD through NFS. I am using Magic TV 7000D+Slingbox PRO-HD.

One more question, have you tried to use Magic TV share with VPN?

PC(Aboard) <==> VPN <==> RB450G(ethernet, local ip, 192.168.0.20) <==> Magic TV 7000D(wifi, 192.168.0.200)?

Magic TV share client side must be another Magic TV, not PC. 我現在的做法是香港部Synology NFS mount MTV7000D, 然後先做local backup, 再由香港部Synology異地備份到大陸部Synology, 因為local lan backup速度較快, 這樣MTV7000D backup完便可以先關機.

For Lu-Lu, the NFS seems to be more complicated.

Magic TV 7000D, BANNED.

4 or 5 seems to be Lu-Lu's choice

Vulkano flow ，我有玩呀!!我幫個朋友SET都用了快一年

質素系吾錯，我朋友系接NOW，佢用高清NOW的機頂盒，佢可以看高清免費同埋NOW TV，佢主要系用IPAD睇

如果大家想系電視上看到Vulkano flow的轉播節目，Vulkano flow + 機頂盒 + IPAD + APPLETV

呢個系我諗出來的完美方案，只限在大陸有屋想看香港節目又想在大電視上看!!

這樣接的東西比較多, 所以我直接用Slingcatcher! 而且現在Slingbox好似唔止淨係Slingcatcher, WD等set-top box都可以!

我鍾意用IPAD系流動方面同連上了APPLETV就可以把IPAD上看到的都鏡影一份去電視!!!不是單單為了看Vulkano flow還可以看上不同的視頻網站!!還有個人喜好，觸屏比搖控好系控制方面
