Is there any experience to share on this set up (chan_dongle + kannel) in the same server?

Why? to have a better web based support for Chinese SMS via kannel.

I wish to install both.

Anyone has good tutorial to set up and configure kannel to work. It looks difficult to me when using kannel rpm to install

I can tell you that it loads and runs. But not yet add the USB modem and test SMS

kannel 安裝時所提到的
admin-port = 13000
smsbox-port = 13001

可以修改嗎? 它是指TCP 抑或 UDP 呢? 因為擔心會跟我現有使用的一些Asterisk UDP port 相撞。

No idea. Just up and restrict the connection from the same machine. Not tested it at all.

two types of SMS: asterisk binds to USB modem to send and receive modem; use kannel to send Chinese SMS

My previous installation of kannel has conflicts with my webmin.
