I got hit by this "bug" too, you won't know about this limitation unless you 1) RTFM (Read The ******* Manual) or 2) learn this the hard way, I did it the second way, I think they should let the use choose whether to save the password or not. Otherwise, they should have a big reminder like the one that says "Reboot required", except it should say "Default Password set" instead of "Config Current", because, obviously, it is not "current" -- at least not to me!
