OBi110接香港PCCW固话后，用自己的手机拨打自己的PSTN电话，不能检测自己的来电显示。

根据member的信息，手机打入PSTN，FXS电话能接。而雯雯的setting也能工作，但是来显的号码不能显示出来。

I am contacting obihai support and they will upgrade my unit with testing firmware to include a new detection method to match Hong Kong's Caller ID system.

I will post the result here.

Hope they can fix the problem.

I enounter the same problem as you. The callerid on my phone set shows incorrect number with the last digit missing and an extra number is added in the front.

As for my case, I see nothing. What is the settings such that incorrect digits are able to be shown?

Phyical Interface --> Line Port --> Port Setting --> CallerIDDetectMethod

Default setting "FSK(Bell202)"

I got "5" add at the beginning and the last digit was missing.

Phone : 12345678
CallerID shown : 51234567

After I changed the setting
from "FSK(Bell202)" to "FSK(V2.3)"

The "5" digit at the beginning change to "0"
CallerID shown : 01234567

Following your guide, I've tried several times with the result as below:

1st time,  CallerID shown: 31234567
2nd time, CallerID shown: 91234567
3rd time,  CallerID shown: 01234567
4th time, CallerID shown:  21234567

I used the same Mobile phone with the same number to call-in, it seems OBi110 generated a random number and add it in the front of the caller number.

Just click Call History under Status in the Directory Menu on the left hand side. There you go.

Two more trials but no CallerID is shown this time. Nothing is diaplayed on the phone set.

You can find the detected CallerID in the Call History in WEB interface

Status --> Call History

For my case, I always got "5" with FSK(Bell202) and "0" with FSK(v2.3)

The first 4 trials indicated that a random digit was generated in the front of the call-in number.

I just install OBi110 in HK with phone and phone line connected.

I wish to use OBiON install in my iPhone to call home or other HK number through OBi110.
And forward all incoming calls to my iPhone when I am not in HK.

Just like the case of Mary in OBAHAI site.

反覆測試過很多次了，無論是否把 FSK(Bell202) 轉為 FSK(V2.3)，結果都是一樣，來電號碼都會被加入一個Random digit。

另外，我對比SPA3102 的設定，根本預設的Bellcore 已經完全可以顯示正確CallerID 了。我再對比一下IP01 IP-PBX，也是用預設的Bell for USA 亦能正確顯示，反而無需改成V.23。 V23 係For UK 及 Japan。

希望OBiHAI 能盡快解決問題吧。

OBIHAI support team uploaded a testing firmware to my unit "Software 1.20 (Build 2085)"
(All they need is just the OBi Number of my unit and my OBiTalk account name, then they can push the new software to my unit)

Result :
The OBi110 can now detect correct CallerID from the line but fail to show it on the phone.

My Test Setup
Test phone number – 12345678
Setting in each case in just about the port section in both Line Port & Phone Port only.

Result :

Case 1) Firmware version 1.1.0 (Build 1892)
Setting : All defaults except “CallerIDTrigger” is “After Polarity Reversal”
CalledID shown in Call History web page : 51234567
CalledID shown in my phone unit : 51234567

Case 2) Firmware version 1.1.0 (Build 1892) (FSK(V2.3))
Setting : All defaults except “CallerIDMethod” is “FSK(V2.3)” & “CallerIDTrigger” is “After Polarity Reversal”
CalledID shown in Call History web page : 01234567
CalledID shown in my phone unit : 01234567

Case 3) Firmware version 1.2.0 (Build 2085)
Setting : All defaults except “CallerIDTrigger” is “After Polarity Reversal”
CalledID shown in Call History web page : 12345678

这个问题目前都是香港固话才遇到的吗？不知道大陆的是否也这样，虽然制式都差不多，好像雯雯都没有提到过，莫非没问题呢？

突然发现Call History这个功能正是我强烈期望SPA4000能拥有的，我很需要，知己知彼，不用在搞一个东西额外做记录了

是, 不過我這條寬帶+PSTN是公司申請的 (員工福利), 當時申請的時候如果要有來電顯示功能要另外加錢!

說起Call History，不知OBi110 能保留多少個記錄呢? 現在暫時我可以看到 71 個。嘩!自己睇返都覺得好誇張，好在是試打電話的記錄，如果真正要講電話，每個10分鐘計，71 x 10 = 710 / 60 = 11.833 小時了，真要命 !!

大陆有些固话是没有月租的，其中有部分默认无来显，比如宽带专用也无所谓，但额外开通来电显示就要五六元，变相月租

沒辦法啦! 當時就是要用寬帶. 而且電信的寬帶最好還是綁定固話, 要不然沒有綁定的話出現故障很難查找維修!

你是使用非預先指定號碼(即接通AA後，自己輸入回撥號碼)，抑或用一早設定於DigitMap 入面的方式呢?
我是用前者試打的，試了多次沒有問題。後者未試過，因為CallerID 顯示的問題，相信你也聽到有師兄說要下一個Firmware 才能修正，問題應該是它現階段若單憑CallerID 核對還是會出錯的。

但用第一種方式，因為是自己接通AA後再逐鍵輸入，所以沒有問題。
要用第二種方式，相信要它正式出Firmware之後，才能正確使用。

HK 的callerID 标准和美国不一样。在美国（加拿大），callerID通常有名字和号码。HK的就只有号码(从大家的post上来看)，他们属两个不同的国际标准 (SDMF & MDMF). 如果你们(in HK)有看到名字和号码一起，请告知是哪一个service provider ...

PSTN callerID 在中国大陆有问题吗？

中国大陆和香港的制式差不多，可能还有一些小标准在特殊的地方，但确定的是普通家用的都是不带姓名的

VOIP callerID自从我接上ATA后就知道原来都是有姓名和号码的，因为电话屏幕上多个一个姓名项显示，这在平时PSTN callerID的时候那个位置是空白的

香港曾經使用過CallerID Name 的 (要另外付費)，當時香港一些公司有用過，記得當時經常收到一些地產公司常來電，其中一間是免費報7點半老細嗰間地產公司，使用原因最初是顯示專業、禮貌的用意，讓受話者預先知道來電者身份。  但由於香港有一些人見到是地產公司來電推銷便不想接聽，所以後來他們也沒有用了，其他行業後來也怕影響Cold Call 生意，所以便更難成氣候了。至於家用嘛，要另外付費的話，也不會有多少人問津。

現在電訊公司還有沒有提供此類服務就不清楚了，但肯定在制式上是百分百可以做得到的。

現在基本上環境是:

1.  家用市場的用家很想使用Caller ID Name 但不想另外付費;
2.  商用主場的用家有能力付費，但卻不想使用之後而影響Cold Call 生意;
3.  服務提供者不願意提供免費服務；
4.  私隱問題

在任何一方都沒有誘因推動之下，各位短期內也不用想了。

I think this confirms HK mainly uses SDMF (single data message format). Please go ahead to upgrade your OBi unit with the latest firmware 1.2.2101, and report any issues regarding callerID.

我知道我的为什么没有来电显示，我用普通电话也没有，原来是PCCW的机楼出了问题，要从新reset。

救命... 剛在google看到這個貼子, 你們說1.2已經修正了有關問題,,

但剛才測試了, 3個call 1個沒有caller ID... ringdelay已經4000ms了！
我的firmware還是更加新的1.3版本

我來來回回測試了數十次, 對方也很困擾... 玩3102時也沒有這麼多的問題...

我從來無caller id問題, 就算以前用和記PSTN 或現在 HKBN PSTN. 都無呢個問題.
