If you have an voip whose has joined the iNum ogranisation, then you can use the iNum shared access number around the world to make phone calls to other iNum.

For instance, if you are the user of Gzimo5, you do have a iNum. To know what’s your iNum number look for your Gizmo5 SIP number, which looks like 1-747-XXX-XXXX and replace the [1-747] with [883 510 07].

Example: If your Gizmo5 SIP number is 1-747 123 4567 then your iNum is +883 510 071 234 567.

Where shows that the Hong Kong iNum shared access number is +852 58080177. When you dial the Hong Kong iNum shared access number and then press the iNum that you want, the system will connect it accordingly.

The following are of useful iNums:

+883 5100 0000 0091 which is an Echo test.
+883 5100 0000 0093 which is a Caller ID test.

+883 5100 7474 3246 which is Gizmo5 test number as well as an echo test.
+883 5100 7474 5000 which is test number for SipPhone (Gizmo's predecessor) and it will also read back the caller ID.

I have tried the iNum shared access numbers in Hong Kong, USA and Canada. My telephone can receive the caller ID such that I may call them back when needed if the telephone charge is cheaper.

I got my iNum from Gizmo5 account. Whenever anyone calls my iNum, it goes to my Asterisk server, which will direct the incoming call to whatever extension that I want.

There is other free option. One of them is voipuser.
I am now trying Voxox. It can be used in asterisk as well.

Basically, you can setup speed dial for your friends with inum 883xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@inum.net

The most powerful of iNum is that they provide the caller ID to you such that your asterisk server may carry out some processes based on the caller ID.

Does anyone have succeeded to make SIP call for iNum using Asterisk?

I believe that individual does not allow to DIRECTLY connect the inum.net gateway. As a result, we have to use iNum VSP to make iNum calls.

I think so. This is why we can't do SIP URI dialling.

Besides the direct dialling for iNums via our Asterisk server, it is very difficult to send our custom caller ID when calling other iNum. You may do so by paying a certain amount of money to the inum provider, otherwise it is no way to set it.

The only available inum number is the echo test number, +883510000000091. I do not check with Gizmo5 sinceit works only for as access number for me.

More iNum numbers are shown on the first post for testing. I believe most of our members do not have any iNum number.

谢谢你的意见。我试过你的方法，依然不行，但是用下面的方式可以拨打iNum电话。

exten => 168,1,Dial(SIP/011883510000000091@gizmo5,,r) ; iNum Echo Test

在Gizmo5拨打长途之前要加011，这是美加一般拨打长途的prefix。不像香港那样，乱来。在中国大陆地区拨打长途，一般都是00字头，如果用某些IP公司，先拨打IP公司或者部门的短号（这个要电信局批准和分配），例如17909，17911等等，拨打方式17909 00 等等。

在香港，如果根据大陆拨打长途方式，那么你用的任何公司的固网电话，拨打长途都是一致 00，如果你想选择彼得公司，应该全都是1字头，还有位数也最好规定，像大陆那样17909样样，不同公司有不同的号码。比如1780，1781是不同的公司，那么如果我们选他们的公司拨打长途的话，拨打模式应该是

1780 00 xxx 选 1780公司
1781 00 xxx 选 1781公司

而目前我们香港拨打长途，本身公司怎样打，估计大家都不知道吧！！！哈哈！如果用别家公司，我们要记住它的prefix，加入香港宽频是133，那么我们拨打长途就要133 + country code ...，简直太乱。

刚才问过一下电信管理局，如果香港任何固网电话，拨打001 + Country Code 。。。。就可以拨打长途。

香港的members你是否知道这个是事呢？

不过001是否全通过PCCW网络打出长途？

在问过管理局，001是香港通用拨打长途prefix，一般都比较贵，因为给你最好的网络，是经过固网电话出，而不是route去PCCW出。

在我脑海里，在以前香港只有一家电话公司 Hong Kong Telephone Co，拨打长途电话是001，所以我的感觉，拨打001就是选了PCCW的001。从电讯管理局知道，001是通用拨打长途的prefix，如果你要选PCCW的长途网络，可以用006。

所以要防止黑客入侵盜打IDD, 不用的話可以向電訊公司取消IDD功能, 又或者申請密碼! 還要在Dial Plan做setting!
