我剛才自己還試了Whistle Phone和NetDial去用CMPhone, Whistle Phone效果不好, NetDial註冊唔到.

其實我一直有用iphone app Siphon及 Siax pro 打HKBN 2b 及 ET263, 都很方便。
就是不知道HKBN2b的official app會唔會通話品質會好D.
最近iphone 3GS upgrade左 4.3.3, 安裝舊版本的Siphon不行了，在網上找了一輪， 找到個新一D版本的beta版的Siphon， 用得出奇地好。
裏面有得選codec, 系會依你的data connection type來自動選codec, 如果是3G 就用高壓縮比的codec, 如果是wifi就用低壓縮比的codec.
好過以前我系分開Siphon就用低壓縮比codec, Siax pro就用高壓縮比codec.
並且新的Siphon， 也可以同時設多個sip profile， 重有一個功能，未知如何使用的， 就系settup內有一個Phone --> Backgrounding (Enabled/Disabled)。我瞭解就系使用iOS 4.3.3的多工， 可以將Siphon的電話常開著放在backgraund standby。 但我使用時，當lost左data connection後， 就會連不上線。就算將整個app關掉在開， 也是會連不上線。但一但取消左這個功能， 就能重新連上線。

Did you jb your iphone? I can't install siphone.
For HKBN 2b apps, it allows you to set the codecs. Quality is very good.

    Yes! I jb my iphone. I tried many iphone VOIP apps. Till now, I am very statisfy for Siphon & Siax Pro. I can easily use the same app to make HKBN2b call and ET263.

我用iPad 2安装2b的app，效果还可以，但是不能用g729a codec.

It is very difficult to type in Chinese using the iPad keyboard. Using English keyboard is okay. I use Poray to get access Internet.

You should be able to get G729. My iphone 2b apps did show up as G729 when connected to mobile. I also show up as G711u in other environment.

Did you try on other apps such as Media5-fone, Wifone and OBiOn?

Two codecs g711a and g729a are available in my iPad. I do not know why my g929a does not work.

I have not tried other apps for the time being. I shall test then later.

By the way, how do we close the 2b app?
